Final partners' meeting of the Project "European Civil Resource Centres" under the "Europe for Citizens" Programme



From 15th to 20th October 2013 in Bansko, the final meeting under the project "EUROPEAN CIVIL RESOURCE CENTERS" will be held. The project is implemented by the "International Development Alliance" and aims to build civil data centers that provide advice and expertise of the "Europe for Citizens" Programme.

During the meeting, the partners and the participants will represent the activities and the results of the project. There will be developing of recommendations and concept for the further development of the informational centres and the project.


The activity of the "European Civil Resource Center" is performed with the financial support of the European Commission (Executive Agency for Education, Audiovisual and Culture), 'Europe for Citizens' Programme, Action 1 - Active Citizens for Europe, Measure 2.2 - Support Measures

International Training for Citizen Moderators


Association "International Development Alliance", Bulgaria organized an international training for citizen moderators as part of "European civil resource centres" project, realized with the financial and institutional support of the European Commission's "Europe for citizens" Programme. The main aim of the project is to enable civil society organizations and public institutions to actively participate in the process of formation of national and European policies. The project envisages the creation of 7 national and one European resource centres. They will provide information and counseling services to individuals, NGOs and municipalities about the resources and opportunities offered by the "Europe for Citizens" programme. The training gave the opportunity to 20 persons from 7 European countries (Bulgaria, Italy, Austria, Greece, Romania, Slovenia, and Latvia) to develop their skills to advise and provide specific information to citizens, organizations, and beneficiaries of the Programme. During the meeting, the participants had the opportunity to improve their knowledge and skills concerning the creation, development and implementation of project ideas, the organization of training and information campaigns, and the conduct of civic initiatives. The training course took place during the period 9th to 13th April, 2013 in Sofia, Bulgaria.
